Clarify the costs before your first appointment.
A regular session lasts about 45 minutes and may take longer during a crisis. The conversation fees and calculations below come from a source based on 50-minute conversations; they are not a fixed price for a 45-minute appointment. We agree the service, duration, applicable minimum time and fee before starting. Billing reflects the work actually carried out; reimbursement may differ.

The fee and reimbursement are different amounts.
Private insurance & Beihilfe
Before the initial meeting, ask which psychotherapy services your policy or benefits scheme covers. Check approval requirements, documents and possible personal contributions. Reimbursement may not cover the entire invoice.
Self-payment
You pay the agreed costs yourself and receive an invoice for the services provided. We discuss the scope, fee and payment arrangements before treatment starts.
Statutory health insurance
This is a private practice. Treatment is not automatically billed to statutory health insurance. Any possible reimbursement procedure must be clarified and approved by your insurer beforehand in your individual case.

For DiGA-related services, the billing code depends on the service actually provided and is clarified individually.
What we clarify together in advance.
Invoice and payment
You receive an invoice for the agreed services. The due date and payment arrangements are part of your individual agreement.
Cancellations and missed appointments
Please cancel agreed appointments at least 24 hours before they begin. The earlier you cancel, the better I can rearrange the schedule and offer the available time to another patient. If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice or do not attend, I charge 80% of the agreed session fee under the cancellation terms agreed in writing beforehand, if the appointment cannot be filled by another patient. This missed-appointment fee is payable privately. Saved costs and income from alternative use of the time are credited. You may show that no loss, or a substantially smaller loss, occurred; the fee is then waived or reduced accordingly.
