Getting started & fees
A short message or phone call is enough to begin. We can discuss your concerns, what the practice offers and practical arrangements personally.

You do not need a referral from a doctor and can contact the practice directly. Send a brief email or call. Give your name, contact details, your request for an initial appointment and whether the patient has statutory (public) or private health insurance. Please do not include confidential health information in an unencrypted email.
The first meeting
We begin with what you hope to achieve, then explore earlier strategies, helpful experiences and changes since your enquiry. Together, we identify a suitable next step.
You do not need to arrive with fully formed goals. If you wish, bring a few notes. The child’s or young person’s perspective also has a place, in an age-appropriate way.

What would you like to change, and how would you notice it in everyday life? We help make personal wishes more concrete.
What have you or your family already tried? Everyday experiences and previous support can be part of the conversation.
We consider what brought relief, what made little difference and what increased difficulties. Helpful approaches can offer a starting point.
Has anything changed before the appointment, for better or worse? Even small observations can be useful to discuss.
With your goals, experiences and circumstances in mind, we discuss whether support here could fit and where to begin.
This is a private practice. Check possible reimbursement with your insurer or benefits provider before treatment starts. Cover and conditions vary. The practice will provide specific fees and agreements directly.
View all feesPlease cancel agreed appointments at least 24 hours before they begin. The earlier you cancel, the better I can rearrange the schedule and offer the available time to another patient. If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice or do not attend, I charge 80% of the agreed session fee under the cancellation terms agreed in writing beforehand, if the appointment cannot be filled by another patient. This missed-appointment fee is payable privately. Saved costs and income from alternative use of the time are credited. You may show that no loss, or a substantially smaller loss, occurred; the fee is then waived or reduced accordingly.
